Rizal Ramli Criticized the IMF’s ‘Luxury Party’ in Bali: Remember the Victims of the Tsunami in Palu …

Eramuslim – Economic team for candidate pair of Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno. Rizal Ramli, criticized the budget that will be used in International Monetary Fund (IMF) meeting that will be held in Bali.

“We are very sad, in a grief atmosphere, because of the earthquake in Donggala, Palu and Lombok, the glamour and luxury hasn’t stopped,” Rizal said.

His opinion, they don’t have to spent about 800 billion budget for IMF meeting. He said, the host country just have to provide a place, food, and transport, so, it doesn’t have to be that much.

“Usually, 10 million dollars is already superb,” Rizal explained.

The earthquake and tsunami that strucked Palu and Donggala in Mid-Sulawesi have suffered heavy casualties, about 1500 died in that catastrophe.

Not Sending Representatives

Because of that, Rizal stated that the Prabowo coalition would not send any representatives for that IMF meeting in Bali. ‘We are concerned about what is happen,’ he said.

The IMF World Bank meeting will be held in Bali, on 8-14 of October 2018.Indonesia is the fourth country in Asia that become a host for this meeting, after Phillippines (1976), Thailand (1991) and Singapore (2006). (15)
